Do We See?
Such scars we do embrace
With every line with every trace
Such words we do reject
With all your heart and all your breath
Such tears are shed with love and fear
Such screams are said with no one to hear
And in this time of loneliness
We beg our hearts to quit this mess
In our time of pain and need
All we see is love in greed
All the selfish words we pray
And hope that it will come one day
In this time we fear so much
We always run from the slightest touch.
We beg and beg for a world one day
Where all of this will go away
Do we see the problem here?
Do we see the truth to fear?
It is us: You, me, and I
It is us that makes you cry.
