Do What You Want

You could know everything
and still know nothing
lost inside a circumstance
where they choke you out
make you listen and think
they ask you what you know
and now it is as if what was
is no longer because it
no longer matters when
hands wrap themselves
around your neck as you
struggle with the question
the situation the people
and yourself
Are you ready to face them?
When reality shifts and you
realize that you want the
unachievable unattainable
and undesirable
That is, in the eyes of everyone
but yourself
Express, detest, unleash, release
the pain and the pressure for the
passion and the glory
Even if that means be unconventional
Even if that means be unreasonable
Even if that means be unabsorbent
Because everything that they know
and tell you is irrelevant in a world
where you exist inside only one life.
It is your life and the mind that coexists
within the body and the soul that must be
outspoken and decide.
