Do you?

Do you know what it feels like to look at picture And think why me? and only see what he did? All the hurt and misery Closed up secrets Even after looking at a beautiful seven year old child That supposed to be free of pain and full happiness Living a normal childhood (at least that’s what everyone thinks) Do you know what it feels like to be looked at like a piece of meat? That you can just touch me whenever you want to Do you know what it feels like to be caressed like a pet by scum, that’s supposedly a friend? Do you know what it feels like to want to scream out to the world and ask for help but to be smothered by his threats of death? Do you know what it feels like to see your bestfriend go through the same thing and still be able to do nothing about it? Do you know how it feels to go through seven years of hell and then one day hear him say I done with you? And to think you are free, for once but still live with this secret kept inside? And then five years later, go through pain all over gain with another “man”? And live with that and try to live a normal life? Which only happened my the grace of god And not falling for common vices of drinking, drugs or sex And then only two years later to lose the love of your life, the one that made you happy when no one else could, the one that was always there for you no matter what, the one that loved you unconditionally? And finally for the last seven months finding that one person that makes you happy again, puts away the pain but does understand everything but willing to work through it to be miles away and unable to see him, because some doesn’t want you happy or with him? Do you know what it feels like to want to slip away and hope no one knows so they don’t feel the pain and sorrow of losing you? Do you know how that feels? Do you? I didn’t think so, but I sure enough do. And it hurts I don’t know how I don’t know why But sure glad I made it through it
