Do you?
I don't know how to say it.
Comfortably, at least.
I see you every day, admiring your very presence.
You see me.
But do you?
Do you see me for my flesh and bones, or for my emotions?
Do you hear me for the words I speak, or the meanings behind them?
Do you know how it feels to have someone in arms length, just get ripped away?
Second guessing how you got to the very point you are at now?
I wish you knew me for what I could've said.
For the chances I could've taken.
But, you know me for the nods.
For the laugh-offs.
You know and see me for the very last things I wanted.
I love you, but do you?
