Do You
Do you ever think of me the same way,
The same way I think of you,
Or am I just some game you play,
Do you feel the same way I do too,
I’m lost in a mixture of feelings that flow through my brain,
I’m blinded by love and sadness, it’s hard for me to see,
I don’t think I can stand this pain,
Of not having you here with me.
It eats at my heart, it fills me with discontent,
I didn’t intend for us to end up far apart from each other,
You were the one that would listen to my vents,
And I can’t seem to find another,
Because you hold a spot so dear in my heart,
A spot that can’t be easily replaced,
I really wish we didn’t have to part,
All the memories we have can’t easily be erased,
I wish you would talk to me still,
To hear your sweet voice would make my day,
This empty spot is hard to fill,
But now I feel like we’re too far away.
