Do you hear me?

You yell and shout to be heard, only to find that no one is listening. You cry, you sleep.......you cry, and then you sleep. AWAKE you find yourself alone in a dark place and so you scream. DO YOU HEAR ME? only no one does, o one ever does. But why? when we speak so that we can be heard and we listen so that we can understand, comprehend each other. But are we really listening? do we ever listen? do we really hear one another or just watch the lips move in a mesmorizing motion. "DO YOU HEAR ME?!" she screams no, you dont hear her, and why? Because she is alone. we are all alone and until we learn to listen, to hear one another will we forever remain alone, in the same place at the same time all screaming....... DO YOU HEAR ME?!!!!!

Strong. I enjoyed this piece because it reminds us the difference of whether or not we are hearing vs if we are listening. Most of all, I enjoyed it because it was you screaming out, almost forcing the reader/listener to hear you. You are making sure your voice matters. Thank you for sharing.

Rebecca
