Do you hear or do you listen? There is a difference! Can you only hear someone's cry? Or do you listen to the words they're trying to hide? The pain they keep inside? The anger, the hurt? Do you listen to their rage in their outburst? Do you hear or do you listen? When someone is scared or horrified? The tears in their eyes? It glistens! Do you see fear? Can you hear it? Crying for courage to come out and distance Distance the pain But, the pain can't stay away! Do you hear or do you listen? For passion in a voice? The love, the joy, the dedication on the course? Do you know how to seek it? Do you know what you'll find? The future in their eyes! The part of them that comes alive: The Hope! Do they mope? Do they cope? Did you listen to them? Did you think it was dope? Do you hear or do you listen? To your friends, to your family? To a person randomly? Someone who needs love and uplifting. Your support and it's fitting? To the person of random? The friend, the family member? Show them that you care! Show them that you bare! Their hurt and their pain, too. Maybe non of you guys have a clue.
