do you justice

I sang amazing grace to you, I cried

I hope you heard it.

not my voice, but the gratitude

glinting like gold, bubbling like laughter

spilling out in tears, in thoughts, in words

I hope I do you justice.

you send me signs

I know it's you

I wish you were here to see them too.

they're beautiful, writing in the stars

so personalized,

you make sure I know

it's you.

we miss you,

words so elementary,

but we do.

everyday, we think of you.

these words can't do you justice,

I hope I do
