Do you Know Me

Do you think you understand who I am? I bet you can't even answer with the right choices But you will give me your own opinions about who I am You don't have a clue of what I been through I just keep hearing your negative voices Can you guess what my favorite color is? I believe you won't even get the right color I like But you will guess by the way I dress and see if that fits Wrong analyze every inch of me until you hit a strike Can you tell me what I love to do? I can imagine that you will get partial of it true But you will think of something that I don't do Laughing still because who I am is in front of you Do you know what my passion is everyday? I wonder what your answer will be now But you will get it wrong in every way You still have no clue because this frown is upside down Let me tell you who I am the REAL ME' Singing and writing is my true passion every day My favorite color I don't have one it's deep inside me The color you can't see is what GOD can see in me the truth, my life, my testimony Writing poetry defines me in every way Being able to express how I'm feeling and what I'm going through It is the life lessons that we go through that will reach out to anyone who are hurting every day So I'm here to encourage people like me and you
