Do you recall...

By: Anyssa Q.

-How the sunlight clotted in beaded thins,

Beneath a halo of tranquility,

and though I dream of better things,

Grows older my antiquity.

It's a poison, to forget,

a festering of a wound,

and sadly with much regret,

I've forgotton what to do.

Through child's eyes I was alive,

and the sky glowed brilliant hues,

and flags would wave within my ears,

as stardust swam through.

Through child's eyes I saw my life,

in a kaliedascope of patterns,

because, living is a fractal thing,

if one thing I learned could matter.
