Do you recall the time when we first met?


(poems go here) Do you recall the time when we first met? Were we too young? Or was it the summer’s day? The old pinky promise we had forget Drifting apart as the waves of time sway Who was it? Was it us or was it Time? That played sad tricks and flew by us, rushing Or Lies who held Truth from our heart’s remit Although made to avoid each from crushing Yet I still want to hope for the best of bless To hope for us to not forget the vow To hear the pitter patter of this mess Slowly diminish from our hearts that doub’ Let fire rise, let us claim ourselves back Let courage grow for times we had lack
