Before he forcefully kissed you

Before he hid and watched you in your room for two hours

Before he banged on your door late at night; while you tried to hide

Do you remember who he was to you?

Before you woke up being groped and kissed by him

Before he lost his temper and tried to bleach your hair

Before he tried to touch you over a hot stove

Before he tried to burn your face when you told him no

Before he punched you in the jaw

Do you remember what he was to you?

Did you think him cute?

Or just your brother's friend?

Was he like your brother

A protector of sorts?

Do you remember?

Or does your mind take you back to those days?

Do you flinch every time he walks into your house

Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years day?

Do your pores sweat fear?

Does your skin cry on its own?

Do you constantly feel dirty and violated
