Do you see me?
They see what you allow them to see
The only care they have is to feel you're not crazy
Never crazy; simply lost, fearful of your own thoughts
They see a doppelgänger, full of sanity and joy, rather than hysterity and anger
Question not why the fits have ceased
They know not of the strength required for containment of this beast
Constantly questioning, not aloud but to self
Knowing not of the thoughts and suspicions that have made your vessel hell
Change, all they care to see, who can help you when you're drowning in your own mentality
The more you swim the further you sink
Your thoughts like quicksand, when you can't cease to think
Not a soul to be trusted, they are all tied, combined and conspiring to access your mind
They've told you no, this isn't the case, but hearing this you see deeper than their twisted face
Humanity lies, the kind faces disguise the true horrors and intent they try so hard to hide
Why pretend you're better, they too can read your soul, there isn't a single thing you know that they don't
Your music, your shows, your thoughts, all invaded, yet they claim that they don't know and leave you jaded
Always questioning and looking, the answers soon to come, whether from admittance or trip up of tongue
Play it off, it's fine, though every little slip is forever engraved upon this mind.
