Do You See Me

Do you see me

My heart cries [1] out

Am I seen, I whisper.

You look at her

You see her

But I feel pointless, shapeless

I feel unseen

At first you saw me

And I was there

And I was seen

But now I'm seen past

I am just a figure

Standing off to the side of her

And my heart breaks

For am I not worthy of being seen

Am I not captivating

But no

I am too much

And I am still not enough

Not enough to be seen

I had your glance

But lost it

I had your smile

But now it is hers

I had your time

And now it is fading

And the more it fades

The more my heart is breaking
