Does Anybody Hear Me?

Poetry is a way to be heard It's not spoken It's read Though many people don't have the time to read this I just want to be heard No one gives me the time of day No one wants to hear the youth speak Does anybody hear me? Poetry give me a chance to speak It gives most people the chance We all We want to be heard The youth have so much to say But most adults walk away Does anybody hear me? Poetry gives me a voice That's all in trying to do
