Does it?

Does it ever stop hurting?

That unimaginable pain that makes you feel like your heart

Is literally going to explode

Will something always trigger a memory?

And will i smile while the tears fall like raindrops

then like a hailstorm?

Or will I heal

and be free from this gut-wrenching pain?

And does healing mean forgetting?

If it be so, Lord knows that I do not want to forget, ever!

And if the universe permits

May we meet again

In a place and time that I can love you forever...

In a place and time that forever isn't a numbered days...
