Does She Dare

She opens her laptop

and stops and stares.

Does she dare go on

that one silly site?

The one that criticizes

that makes tears drop?

Of course she picks

the bad over good.

She reads what it says

and lays down in bed.

The tears roll down her cheek

while she's crying herself to sleep.

She closes her eyes and thinks

why did I dare go on?
