Doesn't Hurt Me

It's way too late

to say you're sorry now

you knocked me to the ground

but what you say doesn't hurt me.

You beat me all the way down

ever since then I wore a frown

but I had to realize that

what you do doesn't hurt me.

I know where I am, is where I belong

what you did made me strong

I should've known this all along

that what you say doesn't hurt me.

Day by day I remember what you did

and from you I have hid.

I've realized now it's time for you to see

that what you say doesn't hurt me.
