Doesn't Seem to Matter

Stranded, lost, or on my own

doesn’t seem to matter.

In the music I am home

Afflictions they all shatter.

As long as air is in my lungs

to sing another song

The beat I carry in my soul

Carries me along.

Could have given it all up

A long long time ago.

The melodies inside my head

will not let me go.

Though troubles may define the past

And worries cloud the future.

Never could a sorrow last

For music is my suture.
