Dogs
When darkness creeps in,
I search for the light.
I know there is always better days,
As long as they exist.
A cheerful companion who loves everyone,
Even if they just met you.
Their presence is enough to send me on a whirlwind,
But their kisses send me over the moon!
Our furry canine friends
Bring me immeasurable joy.
The wag of one’s tail
Causes a slight squeal from my heart.
Constant forgiveness,
Continuous affection,
An unbreakable bond.
What more could you ask for?
