Done

The perfect girl
I finally found the one
I can finally sit back,
I'm finally done
but then there's a crack

It's my heart breaking
she leaves for another
I sit there aching
Feeling like a mother fucker

I've had three mistakes,
three tries at love.
All leading to heart breaks,
three memories I can't get rid of

With every desperate try,
a piece of my heart breaks away.
Hurting enough to make me cry
making my life ever more grey.

With another piece gone
my heart gets smaller.
I push to carry on
but I can't go on much longer.

For as my heart disappears
slowly to nothing,
my accumulating tears,
cause me to stop trusting

I'm not going to find someone
In this existence.
My heart is done
despite my persistence

I pour out what some would call emotion.
I pour it out preying for devotion
as I succumb to my fears that I'm bellow'em
I pour out my tears in the form of a poem.
