I'm supposed to be done with Her, so why, Why must I suffer this most awful plight, My mind still hums with thoughts of better times, My body still aches for Her to touch mine, My heart still leaps when I see Her sweet form, My eyes still weep when I think of Her scorn, I wish I could forget but I just cannot, I wish I could erase Her from my thoughts!! But, with fury, I hate Her through and through, My stomach still churns with bile unspewed, When I see her face, I just want to scream, "WHY WERE YOU EVER THE GIRL OF MY DREAMS," Is this insanity? So it must seem.
