Done my time

Done My Time

This situation no longer suites me,
I've done my time,
waiting on a love
thats no longer mine,

my time, paid in pain

the hurt echoes in the depths of my hallow heart, a heartbreak like that comes at a cost, that leaves it's mark

I've lost a lot but I found a piece of myself, lakeside here in San Angelo
I won't look back to the happy times that are now lost.

I've felt the pain for far too long, so I've paid the price, done my time

The pain price has been paid,
I'm ready to move on,
I am letting you go,
Here in San Angelo

Near the lake,
surrounded by beauty,
A sunset so surreal,
I know what I want,
I want to be set free!

Free from the pain,
free from the memories,
free from the restlessness of what if's and what's meant to be's

I want more,
I want peace,
I want love, and happiness
I'm freeing my heart,
I am letting you go
Here in San Angelo
