Don't Be Afraid

I am in the sun and the moon,

the stars in the sky.

I am ancient and wise

Very old but in disguise.

I walk among you, very shy

For now within the sky.

I try and understand

Why you dont know who I am.

Watching you now I know who I am

I am your friend and protector

I am everywhere at once,

Keeping you safe, alive and providing

A better perceptive

On the life you are living.

I will protect you in disguise

From the worlds evils.

Alas cannot provide

Protection from you own demise.

Your life is long from over

Everything good has yet to come,

Don't give up on me now

For my work here is not done.

I am here for you

Day in and day out, I protect you still

without a doubt.

In disguise I stand

With the sun and the moon

And the stars in the sky.

Don't say goodbye

Your not really ready to die.

Don't be afraid, the hurt will pass

And one day I will retire,

Watching you when your old, happy and admired.

Don't be afraid now

We are here for you.

Watching and waiting

For that day to arrive,

In the sun and the moon

And the stars in the sky.
