Don't break my heart

Open my eyes

To a world of pain

To see all your lies

Were in vain

Engulfed in hurt

A debt, I cannot pay.

People being curt

A lie I can never say

Buried 6 feet deep

A burden I cannot carry

‘Cos I know if I sleep

My conscious will leap

Away as I weep

To hell I leave

My body is dead

And so is me

As I am crying

My heart deflates

Here I am laying

In a world of pain

Silenced with money

That I do not need

Threatened. I’m running,

With hope I keep

Wishing for a place

Just for me.

To keep me safe

From the devil, that I see

I give my soul

Up to the stars

Hoping with luck

You don’t break my heart.
