[don't choose me]

you had to make the choice between us

and you didn't choose me

but i think you realize your guilt

because you ask me if i'm mad

and i say no

and i mean it

but both of you chose me

and i didn't pick one (out of regard for the other)

only then i learn

you are more stained than you should be

so then i realize

you couldn't be mine

if i wasn't your first

and i ask what it was like

and you tell me it was good
