Don't Cry
"Don't cry." She said,
As I lay in bed.
I couldn't help the water,
That fell from my eyes.
I feared the death,
That took both her,
And my life.
Only I can see her face,
Only she can see mine.
I lay there staring,
Ready to leave.
She lay there too,
Already gone.
I look at her perfect eyes,
Lifeless they are,
And they always were.
"Don't cry." She said again.
I lay in her grave,
As the darkness surrounds me.
I fall to my death,
When the demons engulf me.
You weren't there,
The day I was buried.
You weren't there,
Many years later,
As I lay in my coffin.
I finally gave up,
And fell to the underworld,
With my sanity gone.
