Don't Do Drugs

I remember the day I met you -
my favorite moment;
my biggest downfall.
You had me hooked on your love
with that one mischievous gaze.
I yearned for your touch & craved
the presence of your luscious lips
upon mine.
But little did I know, you were
my drug, and I was very much
addicted. Even with interventions
every now & then, my relapses on
you were infinite.
Lately, I've come to the conclusion
that I cannot take this abuse
any longer. My mind has finally
become strong enough to restrain
its urges to revolve around you &
I'm not letting this opportunity slip
away again.
I am a drugee and you've given
me my final intervention -
no more relapses.
