Don't Do It

You think you will end you pain Please put down that gun and just listen for one precious minute Death can wait for a little more pain You will pour out your pain on others if you do this Think of your mother! Think of your children! Step away from that brink Extinction does not end troubles it starts them If you think you know nothing, you're right You are hopelessly confused If you have nothing to lean on, why not believe on Christ? He offers everlasting life and eternally fellowship if you believe on Him This is the best offer that exists Perhaps you scoff, but tell me What offers better hope? If you love you're darkness, I pity you But if you want relief I suggest Jesus It has given me hope Whoever approaches Him in His name He will not throw away The broken reed He will not cast away I love you He says and so do I I want what is best for you And that is a joyful life
