Don't Drown

The popularity seeped through to his head

And he became full of society instead

of someone with value, someone with worth

he became something that hurt

someone like me to see

someone that used to be

his friend,

get ripped apart by society limb from limb

And while I want to save him from drowning,

It’s hard to save someone who doesn’t think they’re dying.
