Don't Ever Forget

Remember that time

you said that you cared?

Yep - me neither.

Everything you do and say is a lie

covered up with smiles and laughs.

Do you think that changes anything?

Because guess what - it sure as hell doesn't.

There is a time to joke and a time to frown -

to spit on this screwed up planet called Earth.

But to all of you it is just a game;

a game to win for winning's sake.

What happened to brotherhood? Sisterhood?

Why don't we cry more? Are we afraid to?

Sometimes letting go is holding on

to the things we love most.

Don't ever forget that, love.

Don't ever forget.
