Don't Fear the Cuts

Do my eyes deceive me?

I look down at the red seeping from my skin

But I feel nothing.

The blade was too sharp

Too dangerous to think of using, but I did it anyway.

How stupid of me.

Should have listened to her, my mom

Oh now I realize why she said it

"Don't you start shaving young lady!"

...maybe she was right

But I now denounce you, razor.

I will not succumb the fear you provoke

Let us all band together,

We will not be ruled by a piece of metal,

Instead, we will rule all metals-all the world-with our ultra smooth legs
