don't forget to remember me
Will you remember me
In times of foes and woe?
Will I be the picture
To trap the seep of your weep?
Remember me
Don’t forget to sing me a lullaby
Remember to remember me
Please, don’t forget to remember me
Icy cold storms will form
Brusque statues will penetrate
Temporary work of art will puzzle
But echo these writings to forsake my struggle
In all joints you face and puff
Don’t forget to remember me
Confine me into your thoughts
Don’t deprive me to smell wraith
Can you promise with guts?
Will you remember with pride?
When you journey back
On your life’s story
Don’t forget to include me
Remember me for me
Please, don’t forget to remember me
I stumble on two knees to beg
That I’m kept in your bag
Can I be your morning teabag
Even when I’m a hag?
I promise I won’t nag.
I’ll await your reminiscence
I’ll pray not you forget
Remember and not forget
Don’t forget to remember me.
