Don't Forget the Warmth.

just because the sun sets
doesn’t mean it is gone,
with its warmth.

just because it has places to be
doesn’t mean
it doesn’t want to be here.

the sun rises
and it sets for us.

we rise
and we set.

but we are never gone.
in a new day,
we come back.

as a new person,
but the same soul.
we are.

and we rise.
we are.
and we set.

it is simple.
and it hurts.
when we go.

but when we come,
it is all
so much love.

and hopefully,
while we are.
it is just that.

love
and
happiness
