Don't Give Up On Me
It's not very pretty
It was never very pretty
Underneath
Buried deep
Where it's easy to hide
I never intended for this
For it to get so bad
So deep
I never wanted to be this way
But now that you've seen it
Will you stay
Will you stay the night
Would someone like you
Give someone like me
One night
Just another moment
Of your time
I'm giving you
What I've never given anyone else
And maybe it doesn't seem
Like much
But trust me
When I tell you
This side of me
Is priceless
It's worth it
When you get to know it
Every inch
Inside and out
I know it's hard to handle
With all the fear and doubt
But I promise you
I'll do
Whatever I have to
To make it worth it
But in return
You have to promise me
To stay
Even when it hurts
Even when I get ugly
And hurt you
When it hurts me
You have to look me in the eyes
You have to sell me no lies
And give me nothing but the truth
Give me
All of you
All that you are
Give me everything
Because I need
So much more of you
Then you'll need of me
So just please
Promise me
That no matter what you see
Underneath
You won't give up on me
Please don't give up on me
