Don't go!

Dear dog,

You found a home in us, where you belong. We love the sound of your breathing and the endless licking on our cheeks. We don't care if you're crazy. We don't care if you bite. We don't care if you're hurt. We don't care if you're hopeless. We don't care if you run away. No matter where you go we know you'll come back. 

One of the scariest moments was when you bit everyone and left a scar that will never be forgotten. This scar wasn't an accident it was a reminder that you shouldnt hurt the ones you love. Wy would you do that to us? After we took you in helpless and no where to go. Even your own parents don't want you in there home. 

But we, we always manage to live with or without you. You bite us once you can't bite us again. I am all grown up now and you can't hurt the ones I love now. I can kick you put whenever I want. You were a figure to me, you should've been my role model. You should've witnessed my first steps. Where were you to help me take the biggest steps in my life. 

Now I'm off to college and you're the only one that doesn't know dad.
