Don't Go Mama

I may not yet know what it is like to be a mother

but I am sure mothers have some superpower

that makes them as great as they are

No matter how much my mother has taught me

I know that I would be lost without her

I lean on my mother when I am afraid

sad, lonely, happy, angry, and excited.

I laugh with her and joke around and

give her tight hugs till she has trouble breathing

to let her know how close I need her to my heart

My mother has the cure for anything and everything

she knows how to make me feel better

how to justify my problems and looks out for me

before anyone else

There is not many people in today's society that is able to do that

with a clean heart

No matter how old I get, how mature I am

I will always want my mother and need my mother.

She is the one true person I cannot live without...
