Don't go to Sleep

Darkness,

Pain,

Uncertainty.

Everything crashing down around you.

Everything feels hopeless

You’ll never be good enough,

You’ll never amount to anything,

You’ll never make a difference.

There’s never enough time,

You’ve got list after list that needs to be complete,

You’ve got choices but all you want to do is sleep.

Sleep.

It will solve all the problems.

But then you’re weak

And you prove everyone right

You’ll be a failure.

But failure isn’t an option.

So you keep trudging on and everyday sleep looks more inviting,

But you fear sleep you fear the failure,

Keep fighting on,

The sleep will fade and one day you’ll succeed.

The fear of failure keeps you alive.

One day the fear will be gone,

But the want to sleep won’t come back.

Certainty,

Happiness,

Color.
