Don't Let It Break You, Let It Make You

Hear the clanking of your sword drop slipped right past your neck Hear your tear caught on your white dress They sewn your mouth shut I promise you that it’s not your fault You tried your best isn’t that good enough Life happens not according to plan Even a map can’t take you home Don’t let it break you, Let it make you Words shouldn’t hurt you, they build you You’re not a puppet, break from the seams It will get better, one day you’ll see Even bright lights flicker when it rains The moonlight covered on cloudy days I’ll listen to the millions of stories during the bedtimes in the days ahead Don’t let it break you, Let it make you Words shouldn’t hurt you, they build you
