Don't steal from yourself

I will break the vases,
The Picture frames,
And I will tear apart the letters,
The drawings,
Everything that is holding me back.
There's gotta come a time,
When we realize
That if something or someone
Is hurting us,
Rather than helping us;
That it is time to let them go.

I deserve a happy ending;
A new beginning,
And
I'm no longer going to steal that from myself..
