Don't try

You gave me my first detention

Ever

For not paying attention

Once

And you gave me my first failing grade

However, I tried so hard

In the one subject I hate

You're biased, but you think you're being fair

You favorite those dumb popular smiles and clueless minds

But yell at and pick on those who actually care

How the hell did you even get a degree to become a teacher?

How many students have you really tried to reach out to and failed?

How many times have you listened instead of only seeing our color?

Don't tell us who we are or who we will become because of the way we dress

Don't say that we don't try, because that's not motivating us any further

Don't automatically think that we're overreacting and we're just careless

9/10 teens that are different from the "normal" sexual orientation are being harrassed

Do you even realize that the bullying also means from teachers?

We're tired of dreading to go to school or class

Being a teacher is also being a hero, but then

Do you realize what you educators are teaching us exactly?

Once you tried and failed, don't try again.
