Don't Wish Don't Start
I am from a place
A place where children cry
And fear lurks around every corner
I am from bullet holes
And crowbars
Twenty-one stitches
I am from a lakeside community
A writer who had a dream
I am from a place that no one can go
But me
I am from seven states
The challenge of dreaming
Where dreams are abnormal
This is where I am from
This dark
Hidden place that only I can reach
So when I leave
Don't follow me
For I will be going through hell
And I will never come out
I am from a tough childhood
Where the only way to survive
Is to kick ass
I am from nicknames
The one that stuck forever
Kestrle
Being told you suck in postive ways
This is my story
So I gave up on my dreams
Stopped chasing them
I will never live in the future
I will never live in the past
For those are known
I live in the now
For the ways that we save
The people today
Will change how we act
And how you behave
So what the future holds for you
I will never know
That is yours
Not mine
Only yours
I am from days of jacknifes
Rusty switch blades
And a fairy tale plot
My very own happy ending
