"Don't you have anything better to do?"
A common phrase throughout the house,
From the eldest women,
In a house of six,
Like a tightly woven cloth, we get along,
But when the tensions are on the rise,
They say to us,
“Don’t you have anything better to do”,
The eldest women tend to get irritable and send us outside,
Whilst the men are put to work doing chores,
But there is an exception,
That being when the women are at work,
Or when we’re on a family night out,
But it was the same for them as it is for us now,
Even, perhaps, worse than us,
They were once asked the same thing,
“Don’t you have anything better to do?”
