Don’t Abandon Ship

Peg by peg knocked out of position Day by day brings more deposition Tick, tock, tick tock Watching time tick away on the clock Wasting away, with what to say Don’t abandon ship Stay on board Plow through this storm Eventually it’ll transform And everything will be restored Just don’t abandon ship Horns honking, sirens screaming Out of the dark come lights beaming At the Blink of the eye Didn’t even see him passing on by Add it on the list, another blow Don’t abandon ship Stay on board Plow through this storm Eventually it’ll transform And everything will be restored Just don’t abandon ship Peg by peg being replaced Day by day each should be faced Tick Tock, tick tock Stepping away from the clock Changing ways, living like it’s the last day Ducks quacking, kids screaming Out of the water they come with smiles beaming At the blink of the eye Life is passing right on by Add it to the list of things to show Smooth sailing on this ship Staying on board Exploring the deep blue Animals, clear skies what a view Going on to the unexplored Just smooth sailing on this ship
