Don’t You Know You Are Beautiful?

All you see are past hurts

but all I see is bravery.

Although I cannot make your past pain disappear

and I cannot acknowledge the wrongs the world has done to you

As your friends vanish, your heart aches,

your mind restless, and your world shatters

I want you to know that I see your scars.

I see what you were, what you are, and what you will become.

Your inner light is the one that shines through my inner eye.

Your potential shows that you are more than what the world has labeled you.

All that you were and what you are accumulate

to make you a beauty that the world has never seen nor heard.

Your past scars and who you are makes the world a better place.

Once you realize that, you will be limitless.
