The Door
An intangible vanishing point,
An infinite perspective of tile and molding.
The floors,
Quiet and still.
The silenced screams echoing throughout the walls.
Gargoyles and Cupids free from their marble prisons
Dancing to the inaudible tones.
An entire hall,
Once full of nostalgia,
Reunites itself with its other half.
To Run. To Break Free. To See and Be Seen.
A barrier between the insanity
And the common realizations.
To Reach. To Succeed. To finally Breath.
A turn of the handle.
The inner exasperation dispersed throughout the outer world.
The New, The Fresh, The True
Enters the body like a winter air.
Sharp.
Cold.
Harsh.
