The Doors

As we walked through the doors

Our hearts were racing, scared to death of what we'd be facing

The next four years, we would be in this place

The next four years, we would learn every face

Year 1 went by fast

As did year 2 and year 3

Now it is year 4 and we will soon leave

Counting down the days until school is not a routine

As we walked out the doors

Our hearts were breaking, scared to death of what we'd be facing

The rest of our lives, finding our places

The rest of our lives, staring dead into our faces
