Doubt

What if

The ghost of doubt kindles a wildfire in my mind. The flame feeds on each discouraging thought as it consumes my body.

I can't

Let him take over. He turned my heart into drums. As the fire travel further, the beat plays stronger. Pounding so hard the butterflies that once rested in my stomach panic. Their wings fan the blaze.

It melts my feet into a molten flesh that dominates land with every step that I take. The bearer of my destruction, he will burn to ashes every pathway that leads to my future.
