Doubt
How do you know when you’re in love?
More importantly,
How do you know when you’ve fallen out of love?
Do the butterflies disappear?
How can a passion between two become insincere?
Picture this:
A beautiful girl full of bliss.
She believes she’s met the one,
Her one-and-only ray of sun.
Yet she doesn’t know,
The ride has only just begun.
A moment once full of passion and trust,
Has suddenly transformed into one of anger and lust.
“Because I Love You…”
She’s constantly fooled by such an obvious excuse.
Once an innocent soul,
Slit into a black hole.
Absorbing his lies one after the other.
With nothing left,
Her heart is now blubber.
Manipulated to think she’s worth nothing,
So he can hold the power and amount to something.
She gave him her world,
Now she’s left with nothing to hold.
When you’re in love,
You’ll know.
To love and be loved,
Leaves a radiant glow.
