Doubt

Trapped in these four walls With only a God and a soul A prayer to secure But what if that prayer has no destination What if the receiver does not exist We aren’t allowed to question We might offend But how do we learn, if asking is a sin Rules as grand as mountains But who and where is the foundation No guarantee, no assurance falling from hope No wind to comfort No hand to catch All we know, is that we’re trapped
